Early in 2025 we moved into a 20-year old house in the country, north of Brockville, and one of the first things we wanted to do was finish our basement. While we already had a quote from a previous contractor who had done some work for us, being new to this part of Ontario we wanted someone local and ideally more cost effective. We asked around for some recommendations and were pointed to C2 Interior Finishing. In our minds this was not a simple project: we wanted a completely finished living space with a large, main recreational/living area, a second room for a gym, and divided areas for a utility room and a workshop. We wanted it to be bright, contemporary and accommodating. It was a 1500 square foot basement, and finished, it would double the size of our living space. We met with Chris (owner) and instantly established a relationship. Through the 6-week project, C2 Interior Finishing (and Chris) continually proved true to our relationship - from early planning through to completion and follow-up. This is one of the most important things in our mind and allowed us to have complete trust in what they were doing and the recommendations they were making – important recommendations around things like spacing and lay-out, duct-work, electrical, utility and plumbing. Chris and his team helped us with the supply and installation of tile for one of our projects on Charleston Lake. Simply amazing from start to finish. Chris worked with us to design magnificent custom cabinets and shelves. Then, he showed up when he said he would, and installed a fantastic product (see photo).
